ARTIST STATEMENT
Yelena’s work can be experienced as a form of meditation. Reflecting on her practice, she writes:
“My artistic journey unfolds in a space shaped by memory, imagination, and the emotions I experience in a given moment. My philosophy centers on the understanding that humanity and nature are not separate — they are one. I explore the body, mind, and soul, and the human identity in its relationship to the Earth.”
Yelena Lezhen has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally. She regularly exhibits and sells her work at major New York art fairs, during Miami Art Basel Week, and in exhibitions across Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Her paintings and drawings are held in hundreds of private collections in New York and worldwide, including the United States, Germany, Israel, France, Ukraine, and beyond.
